Writer/director Rian Johnson’s comedic thriller, starring Daniel Craig, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, is a joy from start to finish.

Wealthy detective novelist Harlan Thrombey invites his loved ones to a party for his 85th birthday at his mansion, but the festivities are interrupted by arguments.

When the writer apparently commits suicide, Detective Lieutenant Elliott and Private Wagner watch the scene, while private detective Benoit Blanc hovers in the background, watching the family members closely.

Strictly Come Dancing, 6:30 p.m., BBC One

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present as celebrities take to the dance floor.

This week the pressure is really on, with viewers having the opportunity to vote for their favorite couples for the first time.

As always, judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke will offer their own words of wisdom and wave their scoring paddles.

Neither duo will want to be the first to go, but one will be waltzing into the sunset when the results are announced tomorrow night.

The Masked Dancer, 6:30 p.m., Virgin Media One

Joel Dommett hosts as the eight remaining celebrities battle it out as they aim for a spot in the semi-finals, but two will be unmasked at the end of the show.

With judges Oti Mabuse, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Peter Crouch.

New or returning shows

Robbie Williams: Reel Stories, 8:45 p.m., BBC Two

The singer sat down with Dermot O’Leary to look back on key moments of his life and career through 30 years of archival clips, from his pre-boyband days on stage at Oliver!, to his comeback show in Port Vale.

The program also includes the break-up of Take That, Williams solo at Glastonbury, his breakthrough concert at Knebworth and the triumphant Take That reunion tour with Gary, Mark, Jason and Howard.

Then at 10:15 p.m. there is Robbie Williams: A Night at the Palladiumas the former Take That star performs an evening of swing music and his own solo songs, recorded at the London Palladium on November 8, 2013 and taken from his album Swings Both Ways.

With special guests Lily Allen, Rufus Wainwright and Muppet megastars Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog.

Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow, 9:30 p.m., Virgin Media One

The comedian returns with the program in which some of the UK’s favorite game shows of all time are rebooted, starting this third season with an edition of Play your cards right.

Athlete Mo Farah, presenter Clare Balding, comedian Russell Kane and actor Jimi Mistry play the higher or lower game for a chance to turn the cards over in the Epic Endgame and win the jackpot for their charity selected.

The Graham Norton Show, 10:30 p.m., Virgin Media One

A night after his BBC One debut, Graham is joined by actor David Tennant, who is currently appearing on the West End stage in a political classic Good.

Also appearing are fellow actors Jamie Lee Curtis and Lydia West – promoting Halloween ends and Inside the man respectively, while Monty Python star and comedy icon Eric Idle speak candidly about his recent battle with cancer.

Plus, pop superstar Robbie Williams discusses and performs his current single Lost.
