Mentions of Apple Classical have appeared in the backend code used by Apple, suggesting that we may be able to see the debut of ‌Apple Music‌ Classical in the near future.

‌Apple Music‌ Classical will be built around Primephonic, a classical music service that Apple purchased over a year ago. When Apple acquired Primephonic, the company promised an enhanced classical music experience for ‌Apple Music‌ subscribers.

Apple said there will be a “dedicated classical music app” coming in 2022, with the app combining Primephonic’s classic user interface with “more added features”. With around 90 days until the end of the year, there’s not much time left for Apple to meet the promised 2022 schedule.

There are no new signs of ‌Apple Music‌ Classical added in the iOS 16.1 beta yet, so Apple might save it for a future version of iOS 16 which is expected before the end of the year. year.
